The ACWC’s Fall sale and auction season is about to end with a BANG! On Saturday, November 14th, starting at 9 am, yes, AM, you will have your final chance at bidding on all of the lovely items we have gathered for your shopping pleasure. During the day you can stop in and place your final bids on the dozens of items in the Silent Auction. We have everything from ceramics to woodworking, paintings, prints and photos. There are things to wear, decorate with and things to eat. The silent bidding ends at 6:30pm so remember to stop in before 6:30pm to make sure you still have the winning bid! Just a reminder: There can be quite a bidding frenzy right before the end so you may want to check on your items a little before that.
- Bidding numbers are available at the Gallery, cost $3.00 and cover both the Silent and Live Auctions!
New this year is a Chinese Auction and the jars are filling up with tickets from determined buyers. We have about 15 different baskets filled with Teas, Jellies, Honey, Baby things, Bath items, Hats and mittens. Stop in to buy your tickets during regular Gallery hours Wednesday 9am – 6pm, Thursday and Friday 11am – 7pm and Saturday 10am – 3pm (9am to 6:30pm on Saturday, November 14th)
- Tickets for the Chinese Auction and for the Quilt Raffle are: 1 for $1, 3 for $5, 20 for $10 and are available at the ACWC Gallery and Office located at 31 S Main St, Perry (See hours above)
This year’s Live Auction is filled with the cream of the Letchworth Arts and Crafts Show crop along with other beautiful items and services donated by local artists and businesses. It really is worth sticking around until the very end, as each item and package out-shines the last. This auction starts at 7pm and is truly the highlight of the evening!
- Chinese Auction and Quilt Raffle winners will be announced before the Live Auction
Last but most certainly not least is the Quilt Raffle, in which one lucky person will go home with a beautiful full sized quilt in soft browns with an almost prehistoric horse motif running through it. This quilt was generously donated by the Snippets Quilting group and has called the Arts Council home for the past few months and we will sorely miss it.
- For both the Quilt Raffle and the Chinese Auction you need not be present to win – but you do have to come in to buy your tickets!
Sarah,
Debbie Richter was the winner for our Quilt Raffle.
