The end of winter marks the beginning of the student art work season here at ACWC and this year’s schedule started out with a bang on February 20th. Nearly 50 people braved the high winds, white-outs, ice and near 0° temps and were rewarded with great artwork and cupcakes! ACWC Bookkeeper, Char Joslyn and her sister Darcy provided the cupcakes, while students from every school in the county and home schoolers provided 100 works of art. This is the most colorful and varied exhibit of the year and this year’s is bigger and brighter than ever! Each student displayed the one piece that best represented their work so far this year. Students and their families have been stopping in the Gallery everyday this week and the pride radiates from all of them as they stand in front of their work. The Elementary Student work is on view through Saturday, March 7th so you have one more week to stop in and see it. After that, on Saturday, March 14th, the High School Student show will open and be available for viewing through Saturday, April 11th, when the College Students are in the gallery for another month.
